Soy vs Cholesterol and Sugar Levels

I had always heard that soy is good for you. I had also read that "too much" lecitine (one of the main substances found in soy beans) is not good for you.
Today I found yet another article about soy. This time, the article discusses how a medical study concluded that "soy proves helpful in losing weight, reducing cholesterol and blood sugar levels besides being helpful in weight loss".
