I'm Going Bananas This Weekend!
Greetings once again!
As you know, I'm in the process of uploading more low fat pasta recipes. Tonight I'll include a few delicious low fat lasagna recipes for your enjoyment.
They are truly delicious, and they are low in fat. But they are worth between 5 to 7 points per serve. So, you may enjoy them with caution... not more than one serve for you.
This weekend I'm "going bananas" for 2 reasons:
The first reason is that I'll be busier than usual this weekend. I'm attending a 2 days course on artistic air brushing. Nathan, our eldest, is also attending with me (actually, I enrolled him first, and then I thought about it, and decided to go with him and learn that stuff too... just for the fun of it!).
But the second reason is that I'm uploading a whole bunch of low fat banana recipes that will sweeten your life to almost decadent levels...
There is no need to be alarmed, though.
All of these delicious low fat banana dessert recipes are worth between 1.5 to 5.5 WW points, which is a manageable amount of fat and kilo joules in anybody's weight loss plans.
Bananas are my favourite fruit. I like many other fruits, but bananas win hand down.
Ever since I remember (and I remember a fair bit far back in my life!), I have always liked my bananas. I must've been an ape in my previous life!
I remember I came up with my very first delicious recipe at the age of 4, when I made my first toasted banana and fetta cheese sandwich.
For some, that recipe is not appealling. For me it has always been heaven!
Now I now better. I substitute the normal fat-saturated fetta cheese for low fat fetta cheese, and it tastes just as good... but without the fat.
That is, in my view, an excellent low fat snack recipe worth about 3.5 points or even 4 (depending on the amount of cheese used, of course).
Not a bad recipe for a 4 years old lad, huh?
Anyhow... that's why I'm going bananas...
... and I hope you go bananas too!
